In China, Dellner has its head office in Shanghai. In line with our expansion and business development, a new facility now being established in Wuhan. For this new branch, Dellner is looking for:

Workshop Manager Wuhan

Purpose of the position

The workshop manager is responsible for daily operations in the workshop. In addition to managing the workshop, the position involves managing technique, designing, general planning, logistics and storage.

Responsibilities

The workshop manager is responsible for the workshop management. This responsibility covers technique, designing, daily planning, storage, shipping and logistics.

Reporting

The workshop manager reports to the After Sales Division Manager.

Main tasks

· General engineer with good mechanical background, able to read the designing drawing

· Production skill experience, welding parts, mechanical assembly

· Participating the Wuhan factory preparatory

· Managing the employees; planning and hiring

· Together with Dellner Sweden perform general planning for all divisions

· Maintenance for the facility, handling workshop equipment and tools

· Logistics; handling incoming and outgoing shipments for all divisions

· Handling safety and health issues

· Assure quality by following and implementing the DCCN Quality manual

Knowledge and Skills

The incumbent must demonstrate following knowledge and skills:

- Minimum Bachelor degree in Mechanical & design major

- Decision making skills and good leadership skills

- Effective verbal and listening communications skills

- Good communication skills in English, oral and written

- Knowledge in MS Office softwares

- Knowledge in Movex or similar ERP system

Qualifications and experience

· Minimum 5 years experience within the manufacturing industry

· In addition, minimum 2 years of experience as a workshop manager

· Designing experience

· Graduation as a mechanical engineer or equal.

· English is a must, English level CET6 is a plus

· Chinese as the native language

· Experience of setting up a workshop is a plus

· Experience within the railway industry is a plus

Our Chinese subsidiary located in Shanghai Xinzhuang Industry park contains of an assembly workshop and staff for Sales, After sales, Procurement and Project management.
