Job Title: Membership Associate

Report to: Membership & CVP Manager

Position Objective:  This is an entry-level position to provide daily membership administrative and renewal support.

 

Key roles and responsibilities:

 

¨       Track and follow through on new member applications and data entry of membership records

¨       Track and follow through on membership renewal and data entry of membership records

¨       Perform all member information updates on the AmCham Shanghai database

¨       Order and distribute membership cards and information packages

¨       Check the balance account for members with the finance department on monthly basis

¨       Administer filing of all new application and membership renewal hard copy documents

¨       Attend new member mixer to help greet members and distribute orientation packages

¨       Prepare for the new member orientation packages

¨       Prepare monthly new member list

¨       Export member information for Insight & China Business Report distribution, track and follow through on them as well

¨       Perform database searches and compile reports

¨       Respond to membership-related inquiries including joining, renewing, transfer, benefits, and services by phone, email, and walking-in

¨       Ad hoc membership department duties

  

Qualifications:

¨       University graduated, no working experience also welcome

¨       Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of professionalism

¨       Fluent Chinese and English, both oral & written

¨       Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

¨       Strong data analysis skills

¨       Ability to use CRM

¨       Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

¨       Strong attention to details

¨       Sale skill is a plus
