EFI Diags DRI

Station bring-up and development

Deliverables include:

Collaborate with Apple Diags team for Diags SW development and release

validate command/coverage in Cpto Diags lab or CM

FW code check in Apple perforce with revision control

Apple reviews and approves the CM execution

Debug and Data Analysis

Deliverables include:

Initial failures analysis reported from CM and feedback fix/investigation result to Apple Diags

Conduct engineering Diags image validation prior release for official dry run

Reporting

Deliverables include:

summarize top issues with failure rate, symptom, FA and root cause

Track and manage Diags Radars

Fluent English and Chinese preferred

Represent Diags team in CM, attend FA or testing meetings

Specific Responsibilities and Deliverables

Provide onsite support during engineering builds as needed

Work daily with key cross functional contacts (internal and external) to ensure ongoing changes to the test plan are integrated into solution

Other Requirements and Clarifications

Engineer should be based in China and willing to within China and Cupertino for training or dry runs

A genuine passion for embedded software development

Proficiency in C/C++

Experience developing device drivers

Experience with debuggers such as gdb, lldb, etc.

Familiarity with scopes and logic analyzers

Able to comprehend hardware specs and schematics

Familiarity with standard hardware protocols (USB, uarts, spi, i2c, pcie, mipi, hdmi, etc.)

Familiarity with some form of scripting (bash, Perl, python).

Ability to deliver on tight schedules

Excellent collaborative skills, should be a great team player
