§ Contribute to the preparation of action plans and other support mechanisms;

§ Alert appropriate staff to problems experienced by students and make recommendations as to how these may be resolved;

§ Communicate effectively with parents of students, liaising with other staff as appropriate;

§ Contribute to PSHE according to school policy;

§ Participate in school cross-curricular days such as citizenship or enterprise awareness days;

§ Participation and contribution to the organisation of school visits and trips that complement learning;

Regular attendance at meetings and parents’ evenings that are part of directed time.

Extra-Curricular Activities

§ Support the life of the school beyond the classroom;

§ Lead two or more agreed after-school activities each week including fixtures;

§ Support weekend fixtures (minimum of 10 per year) and sports-focused residential trips (at least 1)

§ Contribute to House events by either co-coordinating, running or supporting these;

§ Participate in residential weeks and other trips as appropriate; Contribute to whole school learning initiatives during term.
