Product Marketing Manager （Skincare）

• In this role, you will lead the management, development and delivery of the product calendar. You will ensure the product strategy interact our brand story and drives growth and market share in the Asian region. You will initiate the NPI process, and drive cross-functional alignment to ensure implementation of on-time, high-impact product launches. This position requires a proactive leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and passion for product marketing and NPD.

  
  

  What You Do

  • Manage the annual product roadmap, new product launches – ensuring it aligns with the strategic brand direction.
  • Lead NPD timeline, and process – driving monthly calendar meeting and weekly product/ marketing meetings, with R&D leadership, marketing and sales teams.
  • Drive the go-to-market strategy through seasonal briefing to cross-functional marketing and merchandising teams, providing clear direction for 360 campaign and activation plan development.
  • Initiate insight-driven, creative brainstorm sessions with Creative team and Brand Marketing to generate idea and concepts for brand story, product story and new product launches.
  • Partner with Copywriter to execute all written communication relating to product strategy, including product story, naming architecture, pack copy, and benefits and claims information.
  • Conduct ongoing competitor and industry analysis, and reporting, highlighting white spaces opportunities, and strategies to enhance existing portfolio.
  • Carry out white space opportunities based on findings from consumer insights, social listening, CRM data and transposition from other industries, specifically from Asian regional trends.
  • Remain current on market trends and innovations across all relevant industries, bringing vision and insights to innovation pipeline discussion.
  • Work with management on global pricing strategy through collation of key insights, and performance data from Ecommerce, International, Retail, Sales.
  • Track and analyze product launches, and overall product portfolio performance, ensuring key insights and learnings are identified for future product strategy evolution.

  You Qualify If You Have

  • Commitment to work in a face paced startup environment.
  • 5-7+ years of experience within product marketing or NPI in beauty, luxury, experience in end-to-end product launch preferred.
  • Good understanding of the skincare industry, face mask experience preferred.
  • Passion for cosmetics and skincare technology and ingredients.
  • Analytical, with experience tracking and reporting data -you must crunch numbers.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
  • Speak, write good Chinese, English. Additional language skill is preferred.
