PRIMARY PURPOSE AND OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB:
Supporting HSE on function objective fulfillment and plan execution in MSO 2.0 project and new manufacturing site

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1.Participate in project design reviews and support HSE permitting application/final acceptance and approval to ensure compliance with China and local regulation/law/standard requirements.
2.Serve as an HSE representative during equipment installation, mechanical completion, commissioning and qualification activities, participate in project walk-downs and start-up activities for dedicated systems; Review Pre-Start-up Safety and Environmental checklists completed during project start-up activities
3.Carry out regular HSE inspections to ensure HSE procedures and policies are being implemented in project including Contractor’s implementation of ‘Safety Work Permit’ system for construction activities;
4.Participate in the process of incident investigation reports and prepare/submit lessons learn to the management.
5.Develop and support on HSE training system for Day one readiness and contribute the continuous improvement for normal operation;
6.Contribute manufacturing site HSE compliance in terms of internal & external regulatory requirement
7.Prep and develop HSE management system for new manufacturing site under bioMerieux Corp HSE policy; Initiate and Implement programs to meet the Global HSE objectives and site-specific objectives.
8.Procedures/documentation management & affairs support and delivery for authority HSE permits and provide emergency and contingency HSE advice/training, Facilitate on HSE promotions, review and trace on the gaps.

KNOWLEDGE, LANGUAGE AND EXPERIENCE:
1.Bachelor degree or above in chemical engineering/chemistry/biological, preferable background in safety & environment.
2.3-5 years relevant experience with regard to HSE implementation in construction projects with emphasis on construction of process plant and/or industrial safety.
3.Well understanding and implementation of relevant HSE regulatory system especially for pharmaceutical/diagnostic site
4.Familiar with ISO14000, ISO45001 system and China law requirements, certificated safety engineer will be preferable.
5.Good communications skills both internally and externally
6.Have certain training and presentation skill.
7.Good written and spoken English.
