Position:                   Corporate Counsel - Greater China and Japan

Location:                     Shanghai, China

Job Description:

? Seeking a legal counsel to advise on legal affairs in Greater China (including Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan).

? Role is based in Shanghai and reports to the Head of legal for APAC.

? Successful candidate will be working for an MNC with revenues in excess of USD3billion annually.

Desired skills and responsibilities:

? Must be fluent written and verbal in English AND Chinese.

? Minimum 4+ years post qualification/admission experience in-house and in the IT industry.

? Good contract drafting skills, with knowledge of software license, support and services agreements.

? Good working knowledge of China labor laws.

? An understanding of U.S. revenue recognition principles.

? Ability to work in a team and with different cultures.

? Excellent communication skills.

? Pragmatic and commercial thinker.
