Your Responsibilities:
Support EPS/REPS/SC system acoustic topics
Responsible for planning, implementation and evaluation of vibration control and acoustic measurements
Ensure compliance of acoustic requirements
Planning, completion and analysis of necessary NVH tests on test bench and vehicle level for full steering system volume
Development of solution proposals for NVH performance of different modules of a steering system as well as preparation and issue of reports
Formulation of test methods and corresponding specifications for the development and in-process testing of steering systems
Analyze and solve customer complained noise issue, Subjective rating of NVH performance and support for decisions of responding to customer claims
Interpretation of test results, coordination of activities with project manager and NVH team in CBU.
Conduct NVH measurement in acoustic chamber or on-site, Documentation of test configuration, execution and results.
Responsible for system acoustic engineering related activities, and contact with CBU for acoustic topics
Conduct EPS system acoustic topic trouble shooting during project development phase, performing vehicle measurements, operation of Head acoustics hardware (HeadLab, Squadriga, microphones, accelerometers ...), data analysis (performing FFT, percentile, data filtering, ect) with Head ArtemiS
CANape and RestBus simulation (handling Vector Box)
Manage System ADVP of the NVH topics, following up the technical open issues, failure analysis, generate product readiness document/report with intern competent team members
Daily Acoustic Garage and Chamber test equipment maintenance ensure all running in good condition. Keep cleanliness, tidiness and Order in working area, Acoustic garage and chamber.
Other additional assignment arranged by supervisor.
Your Profile:
Education: Bachelor, major in Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering
Foreign Language: Fluent English, Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Computer Skill: Extensive experience with HEAD Acoustics SW for data acquisition and post processing, MS Office tools
Experience: At least three years of NVH experience in automotive engineering. Transmission design experience, steering gear design experience preferred.
