Purpose/Objective:

  

Candidate will be responsible for the development of software for next-generation histology equipment of Leica Biosystems. Responsibilities of the incumbent will include development of application level software as well as platform software. This position works intensely with cross-functional team to meet/exceed business and quality objectives of Danaher Corporation.

Area of Responsibilities:

  

1.    Participate in new histology product development (product definition, concept and prototype development, design, V&V, documentation, design transfer).

2.    Lead design and testing effort for software development lifecycle.

3.    Collaborate with global teams to drive synergies across common platform.

4.    Work with cross-functional team to ensure medical product design meets the requirement for quality, manufacturing, cost, service, and regulation.

Person Specification:

1.    Bachelor/Master in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.

2.   3+ years of embedded software development experience across multiple technologies.

3.    Good C/C++ programming skills; Familiar with popular programming languages.

4.    Familiar with ARM, Experience with MCU-based embedded systems and common communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, CAN, etc.).

5.    Experience of Linux/BSP is a strong plus.

6.    Good English communication skills; Strong problem solving skills and responsibility; Quick learning abilities.
