What You'll Do
Cisco is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer responsible for working with Cisco’s global manufacturing suppliers and partners to develop and implement world class quality programs for HW & SW commodities used in Cisco products. Responsibilities include sensing and monitoring quality, working closely with suppliers and internal teams, to assure new product readiness and ensure performance meets Cisco KPIs for quality and reliability metrics. You'll be part of team that strives to create a world where people make the best decisions through data to continuously improve quality performance of our suppliers in manufacturing and in the field. You are the right candidate if you are able to keep yourself on the cutting edge of Data Analytics and influence all levels to meet customer needs. Other responsibilities include supporting quality excursion management through root cause analysis while driving implementation and validation of process improvement and corrective actions, support supplier audits, and create/maintain all process and quality documentation.

Who You'll Work With
Our team is a central team in the Supply Chain Operations Component Quality and Technology organization. The direct team consists of Supplier Quality Engineers and Technical Leaders who have Engineering, Quality, and Analytics backgrounds. You will also be working with a broader team of Component Engineers, Commodity Managers, Manufacturing Operations Managers, and Supply Chain professionals that are knowledgeable and passionate about Quality, Operations, and Analytics.

Who You Are
You are an individual that has knowledge and understanding of Quality, Data Analytics, and Operations with a passion to learn and make a difference. Requires a B.S. in Engineering, statistics, or equivilant with an understanding in Quality and manufacturing. Preferred qualifications include MS in Engineering or equivilant with experience in electrorics manufacturing, strong communications skills, knowledge of data analytics and data science.

Minimum Qualifications for this role are:
-B.S. in Engineering, statistics, or equivilant；
-Understanding in Quality and Manufacturing
-Experience with Data Analytics (data munging, statistical analysis, data engineering)
-Experience with problem solving with data
-Strong communication skills with flency in English (Speaking and writing)

Working time Requirements:
-can work at least 3 months
-at least 3 working days (from Monday to Friday) per week
