WTS is posting this recruitment advertisement on behalf of our client – which is a leading German auto parts supplier setting up a manufacturing plant in Lin Gang New Area, Pudong, Shanghai. It will be one of the major auto parts suppliers to the new Tesla plant located in the same area, and some other auto makers in China. It now looks for a matured and experienced candidate to head its IT, HR and Finance function.  The candidate is required to have a minimum three years’ experience in a similar function in an automotive industry, be able to communicate professionally in English and Chinese (oral and writing), and is willing to work in Lin Gang new area. Job description:

  

 

  

  1. To take part in the processes of collective bargaining, following the aims marked by the company and to follow the directives of the direction in the situations of labor conflict until the reason.(Shared responsibility when there is a country HR manager)

  2. To implement plans of organizational development, as well as of motivation and internal promotion of the employees in line with corporate polices.

  3. To lead the policy of internal communication that concerns the labor relations of plant.

  4. Report on plant results according to the department indicators.

  5. Lead and supervise the selection processes, internally or in cooperation with external consulting companies.

          

 

  

Requirements:


  

  1. Lawyer or University degree in Human Resources or University degree in Psychology or Country specific also deep knowledge by practicing.

  2. Knowledge in interaction of all technical competencies.

  3. Know how transfer/ best practice sharing.

  4. Processes/ guidelines.

  5. Industry/ client know-how (strategies, technologies, business perspectives).

  6. Project management.

  7. To establish strategies to local level for Unions negotiation.

  8. Aptitude to manage teams, to report, to motive and to influence persons in charge of department, collaborators, intermediate controls and rest of staff.

  9. Consolidate the leadership and employee’s development in charge or every area.
