职位描述
Title: Shanghai, China – Automotive Sales Director: Chinese OEMs
Primary Purpose: To manage, develop and profitably grow Molex’s COEM sales team as the leading connectivity, technology and solution supplier to focus COEM customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Drive alignment between the COEM sales team and Business Unit (BU) teams.
· Mentor and guide the COEM team on strategies and activities to increase profitable growth across segments faster than the market.
· Develop, align and execute account strategies within the COEM sales team and aligned with TIS strategy.
· Foster a culture of collaboration based upon clear and effective communication that links the COEM sales team to the Business Units (BU).
· Collaborate and align with Molex division leadership to develop and drive profitable growth across Molex product lines.
· Mentor and develop talent within the COEM sales team.
· Mentor, Inform and educate the COEM sales team with respect to MBM, Guiding Principles and Value Selling.
· Properly maintain all company equipment.
Education
Required Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
Work Related Experience
Required:
· 3 or more years of relevant sales management experience within the automotive electronics industry
.
Preferred:
· Sales management experience supporting automotive OEMs.
· Understanding of Tier 1 customer engagement and processes.
· Background in RF/Antenna solution sales.
· Technical understanding of COEM market, opportunities and needs.
Skills
Required:
· Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
· A self-motivated individual who can successfully manage and prioritize own workload with minimal direct supervision.
· Ability to effectively build strategic customer relationships across a broad span of roles to maximize Molex’s ability to win business.
· A sound understanding of the electronics industry.
· Ability to communicate effectively via email, phone, and face to face.
· Ability to influence others both within Molex and the customer base.
· Project a professional and credible image, well respected in the marketplace.
· A strong aptitude for understanding electronic systems and the value Molex products bring to the customer.
Preferred: Sales skills to successfully develop, negotiate and close sales opportunities. Prior usage and knowledge of SAP and/or Salesforce CRM systems.
Other The nature of a sales position does not allow for direct supervision on a day-to-day basis. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and motivated to lead by example.
