Job Title: Senior Supplier Development Engineer, Asia Pacific

Reports To: Supplier Quality and Development Manager, Asia Pacific

Business Division: Delphi Technologies Aftermarket

Team: SCM

Location: CTC Site, Shanghai, China

Job Purpose:

？     Execute the Supplier Approval Process in coordination with Engineering, ensuring the suppliers are capable of delivering products compliant with our requirements in terms of performance and quality stability

？     Identify opportunity to develop supplier and improve Supplier operational performances (quality, delivery, efficiency, cost) through development supplier manufacturing capabilities.

？       Define and execute supplier audit plan to maintain supplier consistence.

？       Lead problem solving at supplier at by applying 8D approach.

？       Manage PPAP approval base on NTR plan

Key Accountabilities:

？  Conduct supplier manufacturing capability audit required in new potential supplier assessment and existing supplier assessment plan.

？ Problem solving on concerns (quality and delivery) at supplier side which impact Delphi performance to customer.

？  Lead supplier PPAP approval process base on NTR plan to ensure product supplied by supplier is inline with Delphi technical and quality requirements.

？  Coach and develop suppliers to deploy strong 5S, Kaizen and Lean practices and culture at
supplier side to drive performance for better, faster and cheaper goals.

？  Support supplier selection and strategy development through strong interface with Aftermarket Commodity team

？   Define regional annual process/product audit plan

？   Demonstrate leadership and build relationships with key internal stakeholders

？   Manage escalations related to supplier quality issues.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Master / Bachelor with Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• More than 10 years’ experiences as supplier quality engineer in auto industry required.
• Practiced in PPAP procedure and able to review PPAP submission compliance. Preferably in charge of supplier PPAPs.
• Familiar with different industrial manufacturing process not limited to molding, die casting, stamping, soldering, machining, welding, PCBA and measuring plus GD&T.
• Good know-how of Lean manufacturing and tools, Cost break-down analysis, and supply chain management.
• Excellent Quality system IATF16949 knowledge and experience.
• Strong problem solving competency and experience.
• Persevered under pressure and self-disciplined.
• Good English communication skills, both written and oral.
• Good reporting skills
• Diligent and Objective-oriented.
• Be willing and able to travel extensively.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
