Description

1. Be responsible for embedded network element software/application development for Optical Transport product.

2. The development activities include system requirement analysis, software design and review, implementation and code review, unit test and integration test.

3. Development will focus on TCP/IP Protocol, OSI stack,DHCP, Radius, IP forwarding,PPP, SNMP, FTP, NTP, OSPF for layer 2 and layer 3 functionality, SSH, etc.

4. Be responsible for communicating with testing team to solve issues identified in system integration test phase.

5. Work as agile mode with feature oriented for both development and testing.

6. Be responsible for investigating field issues.

Qualification

1. A minimum of 3 years’ working experience in the area of telecommunication’s product design and software development, with focus on TCP/IP and OSI Protocol;

2. Proficienct C and C++ coding experience with good OOA/D experience;

3. Experience with real-time debugging and testing in an embedded computing environment: TCP/IP, UDP, PPP, DHCP, OSI, SNMP, OSPF, SSH, etc.;

4. Linux Kernel experience is required;

5. Experience in development of Broadcom or Marvell’s Ethernet switch chip is preferred;

6. Knowledge of TL1 and SNMP is preferred

7. Good reading and written English;

8. Good verbal, interpersonal, and teamwork skills;

9. BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
