Major Responsibilities:

 

·       Interface to the customers, suppliers and other company functional teams  representing engineering

·       Review and approve the technical proposals, BOM and engineering costs for different customers and programs;

·       Lead the braking electronics engineering team to deliver the engineering assignments to meet the project timing, cost, quality target;

·       Ensure the consistency and compliance with the engineering processes as well as automotive Spice requirements within braking electronics, supported by engineering quality assurance

·       Provide engineering capability roadmap to grow with the market

·       Input to the business growth strategy from product design, engineering capability point of view

·       Attend all CQA activities to ensure all braking electronics business to receive adequate and accurate input from engineering.

·       Oversight of the braking electronics engineering budget in the technical centre

·       Grow the engineering maturity level and assist individual employee with their career development plan

·       Perform any other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned on an ad hoc basis by the Chief Engineer.

·       Automotive Spice experience desirable

Education and Experience:

 

Education:  Bachelor or above in Electronics Engineering

 

Experience: 5 years or above in Application Engineering Management role
