SUMMARY

Take the major responsibility for power design for Server, Storage, Networking Switch and Telecom projects. Drive innovation and continuous improvement within Jabil E&I Design team by utilizing new design technologies and methodologies. Provide exceptional support to internal and external customers, team members, and other persons through technical project cooperation.

总结：负责服务器，存储器，网络交换机以及通信产品的电源设计。通过使用新技术以及新方法在捷普E&I 研发团队驱动创新以及持续的改善。对内部客户和外部客户，项目成员通过项目的合作提供足够的支持。

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:

        Work with the PSU (Power Supply Unit) vendor and manage the development for the customized PSU（500W-3000W）. 管理PSU供应商，合作开发定制电源500W-3000W.

        Work with the PSU vendor and select a suitable standard off-the-shelf PSU. 跟PSU供应商合作，选择合适系统的标准电源。

        Work with Electrical Engineer to provide the power block diagram based on the power budget. 跟EE合作，根据系统的电源需求，提供整个系统电源供应的框图。

        Select the suitable topologies according to the power block diagram, including the VR13 for Core，DC-DC POL, hot-swap control, Li-ion battery charger and discharger, Oring control circuit, Current sharing control circuit, EMI filtering circuit, Super-cap control circuit, etc. 根据电源框图，选择合适的拓扑，包括CPU core VR13, DC-DC,热插拔控制，锂电池充电放电控制， Oring控制，Current sharing控制，EMI 滤波，超级电容充放电，等等。

        Work with the suppliers to select the suitable components considering cost, space, efficiency, performance.综合考虑价格，空间，效率以及各项电源指标选择合适的元器件，包括控制器，被动元件。

        Use the CAD Tools like ORCAD Capture and Concept to work out the power schematic.用Capture /Concept画线路图。

        Do the power related calculations and simulations to ensure the stability and reliability of the power design.针对电源设计做详细的计算和仿真以保证电源的稳定性和可靠性。

        Work with the Layout Engineer to review the layout. 跟Layout工程师合作，做Layout的检查和整改。

        Bring up the board together with the Electrical Engineer and Firmware Engineer. 跟EE工程师，软件工程师合作，在捷普工厂（美国，马拉西亚槟城 or 无锡）做板子的起电工作。

        Deliver the power test plan according to the generic power test plan and customer’s special requirements.根据客户要求制定详细的电源测试计划。

        Do the power verification in EVT phase based on the items in the test plan and work out the test report. 在EVT阶段依据测试计划，做详细的电源测试，以及出电源测试报告。

        Work on the trouble shooting, issue analysis, and finding solutions for the defects. 针对电源相关的问题，做调试，分析，找到解决方案，以及做经验教训分析总结。

        Implement the design changes on the DVT schematic and board file. 在DVT阶段的线路图和Layout，导入设计的变动，以及解决问题的方案。

        Review the power DVT test plan and test report delivered by validation team. 检查测试部门DVT的测试计划和测试报告。

        Review the recommended second source from the Component Engineer and review the test plan/report. 检查CE工程师建议的替代料，以及检查相应的测试计划和测试报告。

        Support power related failure analysis on the RMA board. 支援RMA板的失效分析。

        Work with the BBU vendor to manage a customized BBU development, including technical review, schedule control, and cost control, etc. 跟电池厂商合作开发电池包，包括技术细节检查，研发时间控制，成本控制，等等。

Person Background:

Candidates should have 3 or more years experience in power design. Typically, the following essential qualifications and experiences would be requested:

候选人需要有3年以上电源研发经验（本五硕三）。需要具备以下的条件。

        Bachelor or Master in Electronics, Power, Computing engineering or similar. 电力，电子，或计算机以及相关专业，本科或硕士毕业。

        Strong design knowledge in switching power topologies。对电源的拓扑结构有很深刻的理解。

        Must have AC/DC PSU design experience. Better in server/storage 500W~3000W PSU design.必须有AC/DC电源的设计经验，***设计过服务器，存储器500W-3000W电源。

        Good knowledge in power design on Intel platform with compliance of VR11, VR12, VR12.5, VR13 etc. 对Intel平台的VR11, VR12, VR12.5, VR13都有很深的了解。

        Good knowledge in system redundancy, current sharing control, hot-swap control, Oring control and monitoring control. 对系统冗余设计，均流设计，热插拔控制，Oring控制，电源检测等方面有比较深刻的理解。

        Capable of using ORCAD capture and Concept for schematic. 会用Orcad、Concept画线路图。

        Better in having the power design experience for AMD, Broadcom, IBM Power PC platforms. 希望有AMD, 博通，IBM power PC平台的设计经验。

        Better in having the BBU (Battery backup unit) board design experience.希望有锂离子电池包的设计经验。

        Better in having the smart PDU design experience. 希望有PDU的设计经验。

        Better in having the experience of both analog power control and digital power control. 希望对数字控制和模拟控制都有了解。

        Better in having design experience in POE (power over Ethernet) for Networking Switch product. 希望有POE设计相关经验。

        Good English speaking and literacy. 英文读写好，听说中等，需要用英文跟客户或系统架构师开电话会议。

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual capable of working with a minimum of supervision in a dynamic team environment. Good communication skills and be capable to communicate in English with project team members, customers and suppliers. Good work attitude. Focus on design detail to make the product robust.
