KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/主要职责 (include EHSS responsibilities)

-Define and review the BD projects with SER regularly. Actively propose new projects.

-Conduct the BD projects independently with support from relevant functional colleagues

-Identify, collect, research and understand new potential markets, customer needs, industry trends and new technologies to find out potential and valuable segments and then provide development proposal on product, application, technology and customer solutions to ensure our long-term business success.

-Formulate business development strategy, business plan and objectives to ensure it delivers good business result. Work with key accounts/customers and/or even the upstream/downstream players in the value chain, to generate ideas and solutions to realize the business opportunities. Cultivate the business and then transfer the mature business to BT sales team for SER business, while continue handle the SI business in GC.

-Build up the partnership with external related parties such as authorities, industrial associations, institutes, universities & etc. to promote Wacker Brands and track new technology and application trends.

-Keep close communication with all the internal parties includes SER global GPS team, global and local supply chain, local S-D, local sales, technical service, CSR, financial dept., etc., to make sure the smooth running of BD projects.

-Evaluate competitive environment and provide strategic suggestion on how to deal with it

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION/ 必备条件 (education, language, expertise, functional competencies)

-Bachelor’s degree, chemical related specialty is preferable

-Min. 5 years of marketing, sales or business development experiences in chemical industry or chemical companies.

-Experience in B2B marketing strategy and execution is required.

-Excellent verbal, written communication skills in both English and Chinese, strong organization, presentation and management skills. Good at Microsoft office software, like PPT, excel etc.

-Quick learner and problem solver.

-Ability to self-motivate and motivate others.

-Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
