ICG (Institutional Clients Group) is one of Citi’s core banking business sectors, covers Capital Markets Origination, Corporate and Investment Banking, Markets and Securities Services, Treasury & Trade Solutions, and Private Banking etc.

CSTC (Citigroup Services and Technology (China) Ltd) is Citigroup owned subsidiary in China, as part of Citigroup global technology and operation organization (Citibank China is another Citigroup owned subsidiary in China). It is founded by Citigroup since 2002. It is one of the biggest IT software companies in China, providing both finance IT service and operation services to Citi’s core banking business globally.

CSTC ICG Technology department mainly supports MSS (Markets and Securities Services) of ICG, which is one of the key businesses of investment bank industry globally.

We are looking for highly motivated, self-starting individual to join the testing team for testing Multi Asset Management/Funds Reporting system globally.

 

Job Description:

• Utilizing functional and automation skill to assurance system with high quality 

• Conduct functional and regression testing

• Prepare and execute test cases, and report defects as well as the overall testing status.

• Coordinate testing activities for planned releases and emergency code fixes.

• Evaluate the impact of changes and revise the scope of regression testing.

• Work with stakeholders globally, including but not limited to Business Analyst and Development team, to ensure releases are correctly tested

  Education / Experience

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience as Quality Analyst in a supervisory role or similar position

• Technical or Engineering (in Computer Science or similar course)

  Required

• Experience in software development and QA methodology.

• Experience of testing Distributed application composed of Web frontend, Java backend and Database

• Strong knowledge of Database / SQL

• Development experience with Java, JavaScript and Python is a plus

• Fluent in reading/writing/speaking both English and Chinese.

Soft Skills

• Excellent analytical and problem solving ability

• Pro-active worker, Strong sense of ownership

• A good communicator, able to articulate ideas clearly both verbally as well as in written form

• Good teamwork and leadership skills.

Desirable

• Experience in Agile development practices like issue tracking, unit testing, source code version control and continue integration

• Knowledgeable about financial products like derivatives is a big plus
