Organisation position: China Sales Department

Direct manager and
reporting: Area Manager

Functional reporting: China Sales and Marketing Manager, Manufacturing and Power

Senior manager: China Business Manager, Manufacturing and Power

Supported by: area technical, admin and sales support admin staff

External contacts: Assigned Key accounts in the area
Potential key clients of new / exiting client in central area
New potential clients in central area
Government institutions and suitable consultants in central area;

Internal contacts: local area manager
China Sales and Marketing Manager
China management
Technical staff;
Other sales people;
Admin and Finance staff;

Key Responsibility:
? Meeting agreed sales key performance targets
? Assuring adequate and efficient planning of own sales activities.
? Promote and communicate company products and services to clients directly, and arrange appropriate visits, presentations and local seminars as required.
? Pro-active sales activities towards existing and new clients in close cooperation with technical staff as following:
1. Maintain and develop the relationship with the Key Accounts, to get more share;
2. Develop new clients.
3. Cooperate with Government institutions and suitable consultants to introduce company and get more business chance.
? Keeping use of SalesForce, blue sheet (if applicable) and submit periodic sales reports as required.
? Update sales movement and sales plan as required
? Constantly informing the sales results and new accounts in the sales meeting/ report, to assure China sales manager, Area manager and management are aware of new contacts and developments.
? To understand clients needs and feedback and to coordinate with our service providing team and the clients
? Implementing and optimising sales processes and looking for ways to further improve the sales efficiency.
? Assisting management with BD issues:
This involves:
o To discuss and brainstorm about new strategic directions;
o To study macro economic developments and changes in Chinese government regulations, and to distillate opportunities from them;
o To assist to write strategic growth plans and product development and sales actions plans;
? Communicating with company affiliates around to world to stay aware of new product and regulatory developments.
