Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities

? The Video Editor is responsible for the concept, design, formatting, and execution of video materials under the direction of the art director and marketing director.
? Edit video courses in Final Cut Pro.
? Create and place graphics from Motion.
? Work closely with technical editor to facilitate on-time delivery of professional, cost-effective video courses
? With art director and marketing directors ensure consistency of the brand image/message.
? Work with production managers to maintain schedules, manage priorities, maintain high quality standards, and work within budget.
? Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
? Maintain confidentiality of themes, directions, pricing, vendors, tactics, and marketing materials.
? Regular attendance in accordance with schedule.
? Accuracy and efficient in design file preparation
? Able to write scripts in adequacy with the wishes of customers

Consultative Responsibilities
? Serve as a consulting resource to Marketing team regarding design guidelines and details
? Maintain and improve corporate style guide
? Serve as quality control and consistency for corporate branding
?
Pluses:
? Experience with graphic design.
? Experience with CSS.
? Digital photography.
Education and/or Experience
? Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications or video production or related discipline preferred from an accredited university.
? Minimum of two (2) years of business experience in an agency, corporate advertising, or marketing department.
? Excellent communications production work.
? Ability to visualize production scripts and other verbal or written instructions.
? Self-motivated individual who instinctively provides creative inspiration and out-of-the-box thinking.
? Must possess a strong portfolio of work.
? Ability to communicate effectively and make presentations. Contribute to a positive team environment.
? Ability to take direction and work in a creative team environment both independently and when directed, overtime work when needed.
? Multi-tasking ability.
? Ability to accept criticism and rework.
? Good problem solving skills.
? Self-starter, organized and flexible to handle multiple tasks.
? Self-motivated and have experience in a self-directed work environment; adept at re-prioritizing
? Assumes additional responsibility without being asked
? Mandarin and English speaking ability is a must.
? Must be proficient in Final Cut Pro, colour correction, sound cleaning software and Motion
? Upholds established data management and work flow systems
? Is well-versed in post-production best practices
? Manages and enforces deadlines successfully--on time and on budget
? Helps maintain quality control as production scales
? Is extremely attentive to detail
? Possesses a keen visual/aesthetic eye for both text and video
? Works well in a fast-paced, start-up environment
? Have a positive outlook and a sense of humour.

? 本科，通讯/视频制作专业或相关行业
? 在广告行业、市场部至少2年工作经验
? 在制作过程中有效的沟通
? 能够把制作脚本，其他口头或笔头指令体现到视频制作中
? 创意激发、自我能动性。
? 能有效沟通和自如展示，致力于积极的工作环境。
? 明白上级给的指示，在一个创意团队做事。必要时，可能需要加班
? 有处理问题的能力

? 熟练操作Final Cut Pro，调色、动画和声音软件处理
