Major Job Responsibilities
? Drive the cross-functional Simultaneous Engineering during the Concept Phases of the Vehicle development. Detect and resolve packaging conflicts on interfaces, getting the best trade-off among the program specifications (safety, functionality, reliability, assemblability, serviceability, appearance, costs, etc.)
? Carry out technical analysis, including 3D packaging, style feasibility, manufacturing feasibility, engine installation, etc.
? Define, together with Product Development Teams, the Systems concept design and technological contents, consistently with Brand requirements, Suppliers' capability, Cost targets, etc.
? Carry out sub-systems specifications deployment in terms of layout, weight, tolerances, clearances, interfaces.
? Identify the impact on Vehicle and Architecture of specific market regulations.
? Define Engineering BOM structure, support and follow-up the Change Management Process.
? Support Cost and Investments evaluations
? Follow up Virtual Analysis Performance evaluation to validate the technical solutions.
? Release technical documentation (3D/2D studies, functional schemes, Visual BOM, etc.)
Major Job Requirements:
? Bachelor degree or above in Automobile/Mechanical engineering;
? Minimum 5 years of Automotive Engineering experience in OEM or Tier I
? Experienced in Automotive Product Design
? Familiar with vehicle architectures and vehicle manufacturing technologies.
? Knowledge of Project Management, Ergonomics, GD&T, APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA.
? Knowledge of 3D modeling and 2D drafting techniques, proficient in CAD systems UG and Catia
? Self-motivated, self-starter, proactive approach to problem solving
? Able to work under pressure and without close supervision
? Good interpersonal and communication skills, open minded
? Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (written and oral)

? Previous work experience with oversea companies
