Major Accountabilities
1.Execute the purchasing activities according to relevant SOP and achieve most favorable business terms, ensure products procured and delivered under required quality, quantities and timing
2.Lead all relevant commercial negotiation
3.Supervise and implement the procurement process being subject to relevant purchasing processes
4.Monitor the implementation of order and collect supplier performance during execution of each order, which contributed to supplier evaluation updating
5.Attend Plant monthly review & quality meeting. Screen the supply market of chemical material used in Plant. Constantly study the supply market, evaluate, select and manage approved suppliers in conformity with GMP and Novartis internal guidelines through coordination with all related functions such as Logistic, QA&QC, Production, Tech. R&D and so on. Maintain supplier database
6.Participate in the procurement procedure optimization and procurement strategy forming and implementation
7.Research chemical supply market and active ingredients used to support local or global business strategy
8.Purchasing support and implementation for domestic Marketing & Sales business development projects and sourcing activities
9.Support for local and global sourcing activities and other projects assigned
10.Back up for another direct purchasing position if required


Requirements

1.B.S or above degree on Economic Management/Business Management/Chemistry/Pharmaceutical
2. Above 3 years demonstrated business/purchasing experience and 7 years working experience in multination companies
3. Fluent in spoken and written English skill
4. Good presentation skills
