KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/主要职责 ( include EHSS responsibilities)

The Marketing Specialist (MS) position within LDC exists to support the sustainable growth of the LD Greater China business. With intensified competitive activities, an oversupply in the market and broad fluctuations in currency and raw material prices, there is an ever-increasing need for accurate market intelligence. The MS will support the LD GC business team in preparing market analysis. He/she will assist in gathering market and customer data from internal and external sources, defining and evaluating market segments and assist in the preparation of management presentations, and individualized (PPT) presentations directed to specific customers and/or market segments. The MS will also support in the maintenance and actualization of appropriate databases used to monitor the LD GC business. Specific responsiblities include:

1. Support MM to develop go-to-market strategies for targeted market segments- usually assigned on project basis.

2. Phone contacts to sales representatives, distributor contacts, suppliers, co-suppliers and customers.

3. Identify potential opportunities and drivers for targeted segments.

4. Maintain customer lists and develop good business understanding for targeted market segments.

5. Conduct market studies and research to support market analysis and make recommendations for strategic options.

6. Monitor and report on competitive activities.

7. Prepare reports and/or presentations of results, including options/recommendations for strategy.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION/必备条件(education, language, expertise, functional competencies)

a. College degree above, preferably in marketing or business-related field

b. Sound understanding for technical products serving the business to business market

c. External communication is in Chinese, corporate internal communication is in English.

d. Excellent communication skills.

e. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

f. Good computer skills, mainly Excel and Power Point.
