General Accountability
The Roller Design Engineer participates in the design and development of new polyurethane rollers, manufacturing methods, constructions, and materials for lift roller or other products. Given specific goals within the project, the engineer researches, investigates and develops principle, methods, techniques and equipment to successfully achieve the goals.
滚轮设计工程师参与围绕滚轮或者其他产品而进行的聚氨脂滚轮，制造方法，材料等的设计和开发。在被授予项目的某个特定任务中，为了成功完成既定目标，滚轮设计工程师须不断研究，调查，开发技术方法和设备

Major Responsibilities
Design Engineering

1.1 Participates in the invention, design, sourcing and development of roller and other polymer prod-uct to achieve the goals of the project.
参与滚轮和其他塑胶产品的研发，设计，采购等，以达到项目的目标。
1.2 Develops roller and other polymer product constructions and specifications to meet customer dimensional, physical and performance requirements. Strives to change the specification and construction of roller and other polymer product to improve in-plant processing, or reduce costs without sacrificing product quality.
改进滚轮和塑胶产品的结构和规格以满足客户的尺寸，物理和性能要求。力争改变滚轮和塑胶产品的规范和结构来改进工厂内部的工艺，在不牺牲产品的质量的前提下降低成本。
1.3 Work in conjunction with Process Engineer to tests new material and constructions for roller and other polymer product to improve their quality and performance.
与工艺工程师一起测试新材料和建立滚轮和塑胶产品的生产工艺来提高其质量和性能。
1.4 Evaluates R and D samples or production trials to determine the need for permanent specification changes. Develops specification changes based on receipt of approved final design requests. Has the authority to approve changes to the manufacturing process for running in production.

1.5 Souring the material and sub-contractors used in the product. Compare the material performance, price and availability to select.

1.6 Using Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Inventor, develops computerized files on product performance and specification drawings. Is responsible for the maintenance, control and issuing of these files to quality procedures.
使用计算机辅助软件CAD和Inventor来改进产品性能和规格图纸的电脑文件的制作。负责维护，控制，发布这些质量程序文件。
1.7 Maintains and controls data base for the product specifications, bills of materials in ERP.

1.8 Designs, reviews, modifies, suggests new or existing mould components to meet customer specifications and requirements. Sourcing qualified mold manufacture and design supplier. Provides timely supervision of internal and external mold manufacture process.
设计，审查，修改，提出新的或者用现有的模具组建来满足客户的规格和要求。采购合格的模具，找到合格的设计供应商。及时提供内部和外部模具制造过程的监督。
1.9 As required to develops advanced inspection and test techniques so that they meet Customer (internal and external) specifications or requirements.
按要求开发先进的检测和测试技术，以内或外部满足客户的所需 规格和要求。
1.10 rovides information and recommendations on product related problem solving or in plant product manufacturing improvements.
对产品的相关问题的解决以及工厂内部生产的改进提供相关的信息与建议。
1.11 As requested by the Technical Manager, visits job sites in order to conduct inspections of the unit as it interacts with the product. Provides recommendations in order to solve problems and submits a CAR report to the appropriate personnel. May determine the need to make specification changes as a result of trouble shooting at the job site.
按照技术经理的要求，到现场对与产品密切相关的零件进行检测；为解决问题提供建议并给相关人员提交CAR报告，根据现场故障排除的结果来决定规格更改的需要
1.13 Directs and monitors the testing of prototype samples as requested. Follows up on the approval process and keeps records.
按要求指导样品的检测，跟进审批程序并记录。

Key Attributes
-Bachelor in Mechanical Design or Engineering.
机械设计或者机械工程专业本科
-Over 5 years experience in the roller design field, with demonstrated abilities in the development of product, processes, or equipment, over 10 years working experience in Polyurethane industry preperable
5年以上滚轮设计经验，具备产品，流程和设备开发的能力；10年以上聚氨酯行业从业经验者优先考虑
-High level of skill required in CAD 熟练掌握CAD
