General Accountability
The Rubber Product Engineer Shanghai is responsible for the continuous improvement of the handrail material and design to meet the business objectives of the company.
Major Responsibilities
-Development of rubber handrail component supplier
-Testing and quality assurance of rubber material and rubber handrail
-Tracking of material/handrail process performance
-Maintenance of material specifications and BAAN data
-Provide Technical Manager report on individual project status.
-Maintains quality and co-operate with QA to service by following EHC procedures and ISO Stan-dards
-Provide and maintain professional knowledge by improving the materials, component, process for quality and product enficiency.
Key Attributes
-Technology Diploma in Polymer or Chemical Engineering
-At least 5 years working experience in rubber industry
-Proficient in reading & writing in English
-Previous experience working in a ISO 9001 environment
-Experience with the use of design of experiments.
-Specific experience in rubber extruder, rubber moulding press operation.
-Strong proposal writing and cost/benefit analysis. Is able to format and produce statistically validated reports that include interpretations, conclusions and recommendations.
-Good working knowledge of CAD, Microsoft Office.
