Job Description:
Seeking a highly motivated, experienced individual for the Oncology in vivo Pharmacology Group, within Biology. Position requires conducting pharmacological techniques for drug discovery research.
Principle responsibilities include: compound formulation, preliminary safety evaluation, running tumor xenograft models, performing PK/PD, efficacy studies, evaluating and presenting data to colleagues and interacting with scientists from within as well as outside.

Minimum requirements:
BS/MS degree in Animal Science, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or equivalent;
2+ years of experience in animal models of human diseases, preferably in industrial oncology drug discovery;
Practice in handling and dosing of rodents and formulation of test compounds is critical;
Experience in subcutaneous, orthotopic, metastatic, and host tumor model systems, coupled with experience in and knowledge of the drug discovery and development process would be an advantage;
Familiarity with Excel, Word, Power Point and graphics applications, as well as good writing, communication, and inter-personal skills are very important.
