职位描述
- Manages a test division to meet targeted output at optimum efficiency & 1st class quality in achieving total customer satisfaction.
- Direct all test engineering activities in the division with major emphasis on optimized throughput, costings and manufacturability for quality products & services
- To lead a group of test technicians to support production lines for minimum machine downtime. Also to maintain proper record of all machine preventive maintenance work for ISO requirement. Responsible for new projects/equipment set up and commission.
- To lead a group of Debug Technician and Debug Operator to support production for maintaining a control number of debug boards with debug area and ensuring that WIP is held at not more than agree level.
- To act as the main interface with assigned for all tests related issues. Review all assemblies for testability and interact with the customer and design facility to improve test access, coverage, and reduce the cost of test.
- Constantly upgrade the test process to identify design deficiencies and screen manufacturing and electrical defects from the customer. He/she shall strive to obtain an optimized Test Process balancing cost, coverage and test time.
- Provide accurate test quotation for new or existing customers, or meets with customers to determine requirements, and prepares plans and quotes.
- Provide technical leadership & guidance to test engineering team to maximize productivity, quality & efficiency
- Provide support to the operations department through participation in the Continuous Improvement Program, and promotion of a "Quality First" mentality.
- Shall monitor and contribute to the improvement of Test Yields, Test Efficiency, Tester Intermittencies, Electrical Defects, and overall Tester performance.
- Ensure comprehensive specifications are produced relating to performance, required standards of quality and conformity for subcontract vendors and shall be required to assess the suitability of a chosen vendor to perform to those criterion.
- Shall investigate new and existing test and diagnosis methods to improve existing products and support advancing technologies. He/she shall actively investigate and document new test strategies and develop trials to ensure capability is provided as required.
- Spearhead all test issues and initiate innovative ways to increase efficiency & improve yields
- Understand ISO9000 and ISO14000 system standard and implement accordingly
- Be able to motivate and cultivate team spirit as to achieve strong cohesion and teamwork in working towards long lasting customer satisfaction
- Degree in Engineering with at least 5 years’ experience in charge of ICT and FCT testing in an electronics manufacturing services (EMS) environment
- Good engineering skills coupled with hands-on approach will be advantageous
- Experience in test fixture development and qualification
- Experience in DFT, TFMEA and test coverage analysis
- Strong leadership qualities, initiative and a strong drive for success with good understanding of total customer satisfaction
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good management skill to drive engineer and technician team
