Job Description




-Manage supply chain operations
from Origin to Aus Distribution Center ensuring orders are delivered on time in
the most cost effective way


-Coordinating VAS requirements
with the local freight forwarder and monitor the process at origin


-Be the Kmart International
Supply Chain contact at origins and work very closely with the Kmart Supply
Chain team in Melbourne Australia


-Providing updates on major
changes regarding local logistics industry and customs.


-Contributing inputs into SOPs
and tenders for freight forwarder, ocean carrier, airfreight forwarder


-Manage and report overdue orders


-Assist merchandise teams &
DC's with import related queries


-Leading team in Shanghai


-Assisting with the management
and execution of projects in Asia







Requirements




-Can communicate and work through
issues in a proactive manner


-Can confidently make decisions
based on sound and timely analyses


-Works with a team spirit and a
positive attitude for continuous improvement of all international supply chain
processes


-Tertiary Business Qualification
preferred


-5+ years operational experience
in an International Supply Chain preferred


-Effective communication and
negotiation skills mandatory


-Planning, analytical and process
management skills mandatory
