职位描述

Leadership:

·         Provide leadership, ensuring all aspects of the work completed by the team meets or exceeds service    expectations

·         Clarifying and ensuring all team members understand the requirements of the work and the methodology to resolve technical issues

·         Active partnership and collaboration with other Leaders locally and globally to drive employee engagement and to achieve optimal outcomes

    

Individual Accountabilities:

·         This role is required to spend 10%-30% of the time to support end users by using phone, email or chat tools.

·         Develop and maintain a strong practical understanding of technologies currently deployed within the department. Have a broad theoretical understanding of current state-of-the-art hardware and software

·         Mentor and coach the team; provide technical guidance to team members.

·         Work on and/or lead projects (examples of projects include:  training, global IT survey program, IT portal enhancement, policy deployment board)

·         Be major incident coordinator for the region, escalate and follow up the incident status. Ensure communication of project progress, status, issues and problem resolutions in a timely manner

·         Define and document operational processes for application support activities, guide and coach application team to create CI and knowledge articles. Identify opportunities to improve operations efficiencies

·         Build and maintain active, collaborative relationships with all levels of Leadership across the Global IT organization.

·         Ensure that Medtronic's systems and the information on them are protected in accordance with Medtronic's Information Protection Policies and Standards, as well as best Information Protection practices

MUST HAVE:MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

·         A relevant B.A. or B.S. degree

·         6-8 yrs of IT or related experience

·         Fluent in English, both oral and writing skills

·         1-3 years of experience leading/managing employees

·         Strong knowledge of and 6+ years experience in IT Support teams, incident management

·         Excellent leadership and teamwork skills

·         Strong communication skills, including with employees and clients

·         Global experience and orientation

·         Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

·         Technology depth and credibility to technical staff
