Responsibilities:

1. Develop understanding of process development opportunities for businesses
2. Look up technical literature about synthesis process based upon chemical structure and make an experiment scheme
3. Carry out the experiment in organic synthesis on the scale of lab and semiwork
4.  Identify, develop and optimize synthesis process that can make the consistent quality product at the lowest cost possible while minimizing process waste. This includes developing an in-depth understanding of key process elements and chemistry mechanism
5. Being a task leader for semiwork & scale up based upon optimization process route and conditions from lab work
6. Document the process developed and any findings or discovering from the work of process development
7. Establish continuous improvement programs at R&D lab to improve the SHE and relevant working performance

 Work with other people in organization to perform the work assigned

Skill and knowledge required：

1. Minimum Master’s degree, preferably Ph.D. degree, preferably majoring in organic chemistry
2. Minimum five years' work experience and familiarity with all key unit operations used in the manufacturing of fine chemical, intermediates of pesticides or pharmaceutical, most preferable with the experience of pesticides manufactory
3. Experience with all type of reactions including mechanism and separation process of original synthesis
4. Capable of lab experiment design and making the lab experiment and familiarity with lab equipment
5. Capable of pilot experiment design and carrying out semiwork and familiarity with semiwork equipment
6. Strong technical capability on both chemistry and chemical engineering as well as discovering for new process
7. Familiarity with varieties of analytical methods and instruments
8. Excellent communications skills at all level in DuPont and supplier technology & manufacturing team
9.  Ability to consult, analyze and prioritize large amounts of technical literature from varieties of information channel and capable of carrying out process development plans based on this information.
10. Understanding of the manufacturing and financial implications involved with the chemical process.
11. Bilingual in English and Mandarin with excellent written and oral skills.
12.  Willing to travel
