Your tasks

As a member of the Production team, you will ensure that all new by R&D/Engineering developed Products are ‘manufacturing ready’. You will

• Work closely with the R&D Group to ensure DFM is embedded in the design process.
• Guarantee that all needed Manufacturing Documentation is available and up to date.
• Build the Manufacturing prototypes with support of R&D/Engineering. 
• Create the needed Work Instructions to transfer new Products into mass production
• Design/purchase/build special manufacturing tools
• Work on the localisation/validation of components in order to effectively source in China.
• Ensure and enforce our Technical Requirements and Quality Standards with local Vendors.
• Prepare, train and enforce critical QC checks in our Production.

Your skills

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Systematic work approach, working in an accurate and structured way
• Problem solver with an analytic mind
• Proactive approach, Strong communicator, Fluent English and Chinese speaking
• Knowledge of and ability to work with 3D design Software is a must
• Detailed understand of manufacturing processes of raw materials such as; Sheet Metal Forming, Laser Cutting, Machining, and Injection Moulding
