Primary Function 主要职能 :

Without supervision, conducts a wide range of test procedures, accurately obtains and records data, interprets results, and performs R&D projects that are not standardized. Technician assembles and disassembles test samples and may make modifications to experimental set-ups and troubleshoot malfunctions. Maintains and initiates direct client contact to provide and ask for information. Provides ongoing feedback to Manager and Certifier regarding suggested modifications to experimental apparatus and / or equipment being developed. May assist in work outside the laboratories as required. Processes paperwork projects where no engineering is involved.

能独立完成多种产品测试，准确获得、记录数据，判定结果，并研发非标测试方法。装配与拆解测试样品，对测试工装进行必要的改装并排除故障。联系客户以获取必要信息。向经理和认证工程师及时反馈测试设备的改进建议。可能需在外部实验室测试。完成仅书面工作的项目。

Principal Duties & Responsibilities 主要职责 :

• Assumes total responsibility for the completion of assigned projects within negotiated time and cost schedules. 负责在设定时间内完成分配的测试项目
• Conducts a wide range of test procedures on sample equipment to the applicable standards and interprets results of the test. Determines or works with Certifier confirming which tests are required; the order in which to perform tests and the number of samples required. Performs tests and calculations, compiles data and summarizes test results into test reports. Verifies calculations are consistent with results of measurements. Determines whether product passes or fails subject to review by Certifier.根据标准对测试样品完成多种测试，判定测试结果。独立或与认证工程师一起确定测试项目与顺序、样品数量。进行实验与计算、整理数据、填写测试报告。验证计算结果与测量结果相符。确定产品是否通过测试。
• Assembles and disassembles test samples, hooks-up laboratory test equipment in preparation for testing; operates most laboratory test equipment without supervision. 组装与拆卸测试样品，连接并独立操作大多数测试设备。
• Notes and records substandard features of products which may appear before or during the tests and refer them to PGM, Lab Manager or Certifier. 观察并记录不合格样品，并通告经理或认证工程师。
• Maintains good housekeeping of tools, equipment and work area following tests and carry out assigned laboratory clean-up duties. 测试后维持工具、设备和工作场所整洁有序，并执行实验室的日常清理工作。
• Responsible for follow-up for any non-conformances as a result of calibration, with guidance from supervisor.在指导下跟进校准不符合项的整改。
• Responsible for the integrity of customer samples while in the lab as per DQDs. 根据质量控制流程，负责保证客户样品在实验室保存完好。
• Interacts with jobholder / certifier to plan activities, exchange information, review and approve lab reports. 与认证工程师协同安排测试、交换信息、审批实验室报告。
• May make field trips and assist in work outside the laboratories as required. 需要时到外部实验室出差。
• Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor. 经理分配的其他职责。
• Processes paperwork jobs from opening to distribution where no engineering is involved (i.e. alternative construction, change of records and multiple listings) if required. 处理仅书面工作的认证项目。

Preferred Education & Experience 教育背景及经验要求 :

• Technical Certificate or equivalent education and experience in electrical or mechanical technologies.电气或机械教育背景及经验
• Associates degree in Engineering Technology OR 大专文凭
• 5-8 years of related experience 5-8年相关工作经验
• Strong knowledge in all national / international standards through research of standards, documentation, bulletins and technical articles in area of specialty 熟悉国内/国际标准
• Use of various lab equipment, instruments and tools 能使用多种实验室设备、仪器与工具
• Practical knowledge of working with test and measurement instruments and equipment, such as: dynamometer, power supplies, multi meters, and thermocouple 熟练使用测试与测量设备，如测功机、电源、万用表、热电偶等
• Thorough knowledge of Standards and testing procedures 熟悉标准和测试流程
• Must be able to read, interpret and develop engineering drawings and test data 能够理解并制作工程图纸和测试数据
• Must have some knowledge of Laboratory instrumentation, including operating principles and calibration procedures, as well as general Laboratory procedures 熟悉实验室操作原则、校准流程和实验室通用流程
• Ability to manage difficult or unusual projects simultaneously and meet promised delivery dates 能同时处理复杂项目并按期完成
• Must be team-oriented with good interpersonal skills and abilities to communicate effectively both orally and in writing 团队合作精神与良好的沟通能力

• Demonstrated ability to work with some supervision. Good communication skills and ability to provide feedback to less experienced personnel when needed 指导他人工作的能力，良好的沟通技能
• Strong organizational, time and project management skills to complete job tasks independently and in a time-efficient manner 时间和项目管理能力，能独立高效完成分配的任务
• Technical report writing 撰写技术报告的能力
• Computer proficiency (Word processing, Microsoft Word, Excel); keyboarding 熟练使用电脑（Microsoft Word、Excel）
