• Act as key business partner, review critical business, operating and financial processes and ensure adequate controls in place while business expands rapidly
• Lead in-house and/or outsourced accountants to ensure compliance and reporting for all PayPal Classified entities.
• Coordinate and supervise deadline driven Monthly/Quarterly closes, together with all balance sheet and income statement analysis.
• Oversee and ensure the Group's compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and create and implement Group/Corporate policies and procedures that ensure adequate and reliable internal controls.
• Build effective working relations with eBay/PayPal Corporate functions: Corporate controller, Treasury, Tax, Accounting policy, Legal, Shared Service.
• Oversee the financial due diligence of potential acquisitions and take a leadership role in the integration phase of such transactions.
