Job Purpose:

The main responsibility of this job is primarily responsible for GL function, including FA/ Inventory management, revenue and COGS recognition, expense accruals, B/S accounts reconciliation, to ensure a proper and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly & year-end close in close coordination with HQ

· Maintain COA, profit/cost center and monitor the correct usage of them

· Responsible for journal entries booking including revenue, COGS, inventory and other general ledger related

· Review Journal entry prepared by other accountant

· Handle inventory movement including purchase, transfer, write-off, adjustment, and disposal in the system, and relevant analysis report

· Landed cost allocation and PPV bleeding

· Finish necessary monthly accruals for all kinds of expenses and provision

· In charge of amortization for expense, financial leasing, payroll, interest and insurance etc

· Maintain long asset working sheet and manage fixed asset

· Timely and accurate maintenance and reconciliation for accounts of the local books

· Preparation of financial statements for filing with local authorities for all CG China entities

· Support other areas within CG China from a finance perspective as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient organization

· Participate in the on-going and future developments of CG system implementation

· Assist on the expenses review against with the budget and the latest estimation

· Assist in SOX documentation and key controls implementation

· Support other ad-hoc works including internal/external audit, and other field works assigned by line manager.

Experience, Education and Designations:

Essential:

· University Education in Finance, specialising in Accounting/Auditing

· More than 4 Years’ experience of qualified finance work leading a medium sized team

· Working knowledge of CAS &IFRS, other financial reporting standard beneficial

· Experience with 445 closing and reporting

Desirable:

· Finance Qualifications (CA, CPA or CIMA)

· SOX experience

· Local China Accounting Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

Essential:

· Computer & Systems – Fluent in ERP systems, Microsoft AX, preferable. Standard software packages such as MS office (High Excel skills required)

· Strong Financial and Analytical Skills

· Ability to manage to tight schedules, prioritise, juggle tasks and plan according to business needs.

· Excellent Communications Skills

· Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy

· Languages: Written & Oral in English

Desirable:

· Experience from the Apparel industry

· Cross cultural working experience
