• Drive strategy to mobile enable PayPal's online merchant base in partnership with regional mobile team.
• New channel partnership development and penetration into existing channel partners.
• Data collection and user behavior analysis with key mobile merchants.
• Responsibility for inputs into specific product requirements for China
• Coordinate with the Regional Mobile Head on product requirements, business case and GTM plan for Mobile Point of Sale solutions.
• Coordinate with Country Business Development Head to work on propositions and partnership models for Carriers and other potential partners like SNS.
• Drive new use cases and business opportunities with mobile payments.
• Provide Sales support to MS team (develop mobile specific sales collateral; participate in proposal development and Sales process).
• Provide input to Marketing and promotion activities with leading Merchants (in concert with MS and Marketing).
• Serve as a thought leader and proactively stay informed of future trends within the mobile market.

• A minimum of 10 years' experience in the Telecommunication and / or Payments industry. Strong preference for candidates from carriers, telecom vendors etc.
• Strong understanding of the nuances of various operating systems, their trends, the carrier network etc.
• A minimum of 5 years Business Development or Product Management experience. Should possess a successful track record of forging and developing strategic partnerships and alliances.
• Ability and willingness to perform on both strategic and tactical execution levels - to map out business plan and strategic partnerships, but also work directly with Merchants and "do the deals".
• Fluent in English, Mandarin or any other regional language is a plus
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 20%.
