Key Responsibility

·         Finding and evaluating ideas for global feature animation projects

·         Keeping tabs on all active company projects and getting involved both logistically and creatively in their development and production

·         Supporting the Head of Development in the management of a global feature animation film development slate

·         Writing notes and working with writers to develop projects

·         Writing coverage and evaluating materials under consideration for development

·         Managing the localization of projects currently in production, including but not limited to voice casting, dubbing, contracts, and producing Mandarin adaptations of the scripts

·         Coordinating and executing other company initiatives and projects

·         Developing and maintaining contacts and relationships within the China filmmaking/animation/TV/creative community

 

Requirements

·         Strong contacts within the film/TV/creative community within China, especially in terms of talent like screenwriters, actors, and directors

·         Native proficiency in both verbal and written Mandarin required; strong command of English required

·         Strong communication skills

·         Self-motivated, takes strong initiative, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

·         Experience in family programming or with family targeted brands a plus

·         Passion for family films a plus

·         At least 1 year of experience at an executive level
