Our customers in the photovoltaic industry expect from us efficient solutions for quality control. We supply these in the form of our image processing systems for testing solar cells in the various process steps of cell production. Your work will be characterized by close cooperation with colleagues in China and Germany and contact to our customers.

  

Which tasks await you?

  

• You will develop our image processing systems for solar cell testing through application engineering and create new, application-specific image processing solutions using the VITRONIC software framework
• You will be responsible for commissioning the systems at the facilities of our Chinese customers.
• Through close customer contact you will adapt the systems to meet the quality requirements of our customers and will accompany the systems through to final acceptance testing
• You will be trained over several months at VITRONIC’s head office in Wiesbaden / Germany
• Following the completion of your training, you will work very closely with our development team in the VITRONIC head office in Wiesbaden / Germany

  

What profile are we looking for?

  

You are looking for a new challenge following completion of your master's or bachelor's degree in electronic engineering, computer science, optics, applied physics, mechatronics or a related field and have had your first practical experience in the field of image processing or signal processing.

  

During your studies, you have acquired programming skills and, ideally, applied these in practice. You are an excellent team player, who enjoys communicating with different stakeholders including customers, project managers, technology and design teams.

  

You will be solution oriented, be hands on, have a broad technical understanding (including for fault finding) and deep technical skills.

  

You will be willing to travel domestically within China and to other countries. You will therefore possess excellent spoken and written Chinese language skills and good English language skills. German language skills are advantageous, but not mandatory.
