Main Tasks/Responsibilities:

  

  

Inspection plan and perform:

  

• Review customer specification and confirm inspection standards internally;
• Supervise QATC technicians create and release inspection plan in QA system;
• Guide QATC technicians to perform all measurements and evaluations;
• Approve and release related test reports and documentation;
• Check and release CMM programs created by QATC technicians;
• Analyze new samples from packaging team or sales team.

  

 

  

Measurement device management:

  

• Guide and supervise QATC technicians on daily maintenance of measurement devices in QA lab;
• Keep QA lab equipment in order, clean and functional;
• Keep updating “Measurement Device Log Book” in insight;

  

• Assist QATC manager perform annual calibration for all measurement devices in CC;
• Alarm QATC manager in case any measurement device does not in functional working;

  

 

  

Sample arrangement:

  

• Responsible for preservation of required samples;
• Manage blind room, update storage records in insight;

  

 

  

Miscellaneous:

  

• File all QA related documents;
• Improve internal procedures and coordinate the development process;
• Assist and perform project startup in Alpla plants if necessary;
• Technical support for co-workers;
• Keep 5S performance in QA lab;

Perform QA training for new employees and apprentices

  

Education/Experience

  

• College or higher in mechanical design and manufacture, engineering, chemistry or relevant field, bachelor degree is preferred;

  

 

  

 

  

Qualification/Skills

  

• Min 3 years quality assurance and system related working experience;
• Good English communication skill – both verbal and written;
• Sufficient working knowledge of measuring devices, e.g. calipers, height gage, etc. (programming of CMM is preferred);
• Ability in engineering drawing reading;
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Knowledge of statistic is an advantage;
• Knowledge of regulated industry and/or quality standard requirements (e.g. ISO9000, GMP, HACCP) is an advantage;
• Teamwork;
• Willing to travel.
