Responsibilities:

1. Manage the sourcing conversion of purchase requisition to purchase order for a given category with efficiency and detail.

2. Negotiate with vendors for savings and drive cost reduction initiatives for long-term

benefits to the business.

3. Manage vendor relationships, performance, quality, cost and delivery.

4. Expedite locally sourced goods and equipment.

5. Analyse the total cost of ownership, total cycle cost and comparison between vendors

for best value to the company.

6. Check drawings and details of requisitions to ensure completeness, accuracy and

compliance with engineering and manufacturing procedures.

7. Manage the expectations of a complex engineering business with the many interfaces

that supply chain has with the project teams.

Requirements:

? University degree in Supply Chain / Business Management /Engineering.

? You have minimum 5 years of relevant experience of machined parts/sheet metal/forging materials sourcing

? Experience working in the food and chemical industry is an advantage.

? You have a good working knowledge of supply chain process’s and how to approach

sourcing for a complex category.
