COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

Rapidly growing US based company focusing on the design, engineering and manufacturing of high quality production equipment for pilot and commercial scale biopharmaceutical manufacturing has a sought-after opportunity for experienced Automation Engineer.

JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

The Automation Engineer – China position has two general purposes:

· Service and support of Company's equipment installations in China

· Automation design, specification, and programming to support Company’s systems projects

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Automation specification and test plan development and review

· PLC, DCS, and HMI programming for a variety of biopharmaceutical process equipment

· Automation testing – Bench, Factory, and Customer Sites

· Troubleshooting, repair, and upgrading of Company's equipment installations

QUALIFICATIONS

· 2-4 years experience in process automation

· Experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Software, Siemens, and/or Emerson automation platforms

· B.S. Degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English

· Ability to travel approximately 25%, mostly within China and occasionally to the US.

· Familiarity with ISA S.88

· Experience in the pharmaceutical industry a strong plus, including knowledge of GAMP 5
