Responsibilities:

1. Improve the quality, stability, and consistency of  products with new processes.

2. Direct the scale-up process for new products.

3. Direct new product line launch.

4. Responsible for Process Validation of equipment.

5. Document standard work instructions and recommend specific improvements to them.

6. Drive the Process Change Request process, implements changes in documentation.

7. Responsible for training associates on new equipment and processes.

8. Resolve customer complaints by using effective root cause analysis tools.

9. Maintain awareness of relevant technology.

10. Subject Matter Expert to other departments with supplies, shop floor processes, and other chemical manufacturing practices.

11. Actively participate, promote and comply with all EH&S programs and policies.

12. Suggest processes for improvement and others for obsolescence.

13. Coach others on developing process flow improvements.

14. Adhere to safe working conditions and strictly follow necessary precautions.

15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent experience.

5 - 7 years minimum experience in chemical manufacturing, with supervisory experience and a background in adhesives is highly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English required.
