Key Responsibilities

• Work with the manufacturing sites, Canada R&D, and internal customers to Identify, develop & qualify suppliers in China and other Asian countries to support the commodity LCR sourcing strategies, and assist in part qualification.

• Work with current suppliers to achieve Year on Year cost reduction 

• Monitor and communicate the current commodity market conditions, technology roadmaps, and identify supply/demand challenges.

• Develop and improve supplier's QDCS performance, solve the quality issue and emergency of material shortage.

• Collaborate internally and externally as required to optimize supply chain results. 

• Manager assigned other tasks

Background and Skill

• BS/MS degree in Engineering or related major

• 3~5 years above experience in sourcing, purchasing and supplier management, and proven track record in new supplier development.

• Familiar with electronics market, and proved experience in PCBA and control panel sourcing. Have basic mechanism knowledge (sheet- metal, plastic and machining parts).

• Good ability to organize tasks and project management.

• Good communications and team skills required, ability to facilitate and lead cross-functional teams

• General knowledge of business operations and strategic thinking

• Good spoken and written English

• Frequent domestic travel is required.
