Opera Product Development team (HQ in San Diego) strives to enhance and develop Opera's capabilities to provide the best and the most advanced solutions in the cutting edge technological fields of data visualization and data analytics. To support the San Diego team's initiatives, Opera is establishing software development centers in Shanghai and India to design, develop, and subsequently maintain a portfolio of analytic products. For this we are looking to get on board highly talented, driven and qualified individuals to join this dynamic product development team in Shanghai.

Position Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
? Competent in storing and processing huge/massive datasets
? Proficient with query performance tuning and related concepts
? Ability to work well within a team structure and to deliver on specific tasks assigned.
? Keenness to explore requirements and work proactively towards identifying gaps.
? Adherence to general work processes.

Qualifications
Work Experience: 2 years plus experience in IT product industry
Academic Qualifications: Computer Science or related discipline from Tier I colleges.
Job Requirements:
? Learn new technology and utilize them to innovate existed structure
? Experience in Java or C++ is a must.
? Experience in Python is a must.
? Experience in Big data analysis/processing platform is a must, especially for Hadoop ecosystem, such as /Pig/Hive/Hbase/Avro etc.
? Experience in SQL operation is a must.
? Experience in J2EE framework is big plus, such as Struts,Spring,Hibernate etc.
? Experience in web development is plus, such as tomcat/html/css/javascript/node.js/ jQuery /Ajax etc.
? Experience in NoSql database is plus, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis ,Hbase etc.
? A team player with high degree of professionalism
? Result/action oriented
? Good communication skill in English.

? Open source exposure in various computing areas
? Attention to details, ability to switch contexts
