Job Description:

Develop and maintain Cadence Virtuoso flow and supporting infrastructure for IC design .
Interaction with the Design, Layout, CAD, IT, and Product Engineering teams and support for the tools and development flows required by them.
Working knowledge of the computer systems and network environment commonly used by an Integrated Circuit Design team.
Basic skill in script writing and programming such as Perl, Skill or other equivalent languages
Serving as a resident authority in the use of EDA software tools and provider of individualized CAD support for all users
Collaborating with WW EDA teams inside Texas Instruments to solve local design issues
Focusing on backend EDA tool support including layout and verification.

Basic Qualifications:

BS in computer science or electrical engineering
Basic understanding of Cadence Virtuoso, PDK etc.
Strong familiarity with computer systems is desired.
Effective interpersonal communication and documentation skills is desired.
Familiarity with any or all of the following: SKILL, Unix Shell scripting, Perl, C
Experience with system administration for heterogeneous computing (Linux/Windows) is desired. ?Fluent in both English and Chinese
