1.Job responsibilities:

?Ensure stability and quality for the processes under his care. Ensure all the process and quality documentation is correct and complete for the processes under his care.
?Use statistical methods to analyze the process and its results. Develop new processes and / or qualify new materials to improve overall manufacturing efficiency, reduce manufacturing cost, boost productivity, quality and profitability.
?Initiate review together with relevant departments, discuss with customer where appropriate to ensure customer specification / expectations are met within the manufacturing capability.
?Select equipment, material, define process parameters and system to ensure the successful completion of assigned engineering tasks.
?Set detailed specifications, plan design of experiment, conduct evaluations / tests on system efficiency and accuracy for implementing / maintaining a high quality and cost-effective production process.
?Oversee process design projects, and ensure the projects are completed on time, within budget, meeting the performance targets and specifications.
?Prepare engineering reports for internal use and for customers, generate manufacturing procedures and work instructions, engineering change notices.
?Ensure production continues successfully without any hassles with high quality products, and research and implement new manufacturing technologies for better results.
?Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, work flow, designs layout of equipment and work space for maximum efficiency.
?Provide continuous support for the Operations group and the Production teams.

2.Skills and Specifications:

?M.Eng. / a good Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related disciplines.
?Min. 5 years engineering experience preferably in a manufacturing engineering environment, with min. 2 years experience in managing production teams.
?Experience in lamination industry and / or insulation industry is preferred.
?Experience in 6-sigma / lean manufacturing implementation; Minitab proficiency is preferred.
?Fluent in English & Chinese (oral & written).
?Strong motivation and energy, able to show initiative and to work under pressure.
?Fresh graduate or with less than 5 years experience in engineering need not to apply.
