·Reporting line:  Manager, Channel Administration, FCO Sales and FC Services, China

 General Purpose

 The AMM is responsible for developing and managing Mid Market distribution channel, and engaging our distribution partners' sales people in the field; training and motivating them to stock, promote and sell Metso products.

Key Tasks

·Develop Mid Market channel strategy and sales budget planning.

·Educating Mid Market Distribution sales representative on Metso products, promos and programs.

·Joint business, account and event planning including coordination of marketing events

·Customer sales calls and product demonstrations.

·Sales plan alignment with Metso's direct field sales.

·Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet sales performance objectives and customers’ expectations.

·Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.

·Responsible for Mid Market channel administration and management:

·Manage channels horizontal conflicts.

·Ensure visibility to opportunity and order (sales activities).

·Monitor inventory level, and advise order schedule

·Identify gaps and plan channel’s capability development

·Ensure compliance to Metso policy

·Job description is subjected to change as appropriate by the management to align to business needs.

 Financial Measurement

·Achieves assigned sales quota

·Ensure and exceed target AR level - Ensure payments are received promptly.

Non Financial measurement

·Achieves non-financial objectives defined by company management.

·Completes sales plans that meet company’s goal

·Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.

·Compliance to ISO requirement and Metso’s policy.

Interaction network –internal

·Reports to the Manager, Channel Administration

·Enlists the support of product line, sales specialists, implementation resources, service resources, and other sales and management resources as needed.

·Works closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.

Interaction network –External

Assigned Mid Market distributors by management.

Qualifications

·Technical BS Degree or relevant technical sales experience. Minimum 5-10 years of industry related experience in technical product sales. Pharmacy and water treatment, fine chemical industry experience is preferred.

·Demonstrated People Skills, Sales Skills and Communication Skills.

·Distribution-related experience strongly preferred.

·Successful track record in achieving results and managing resources

·Has good commercial support/contract law backgrounds and experience.

·Ability to self-motivate and multi-task and work independently or within a team

·Outstanding Written and Verbal Communication Skills

·Well-Developed Interpersonal Skills and Professional Demeanor

·This position requires extensive travel.
