European retailer is looking for a Quality Technician. The candidate will be located in the Shanghai sourcing office and will report directly to the the Quality Conformity Manager.

The person will be responsible for ensuring that the quality inspections to be carried out on products are within the framework of the company quality policy and are implemented properly.

  

  

Duties/Responsibilities :

  

·        Guaranteeing the implementation of the requested quality controls

  

-       To help to build the technical files

  

-       Analysing and validating the reports issued by the laboratories and inspection companies. Applying the procedures planned in case of non-compliance. 

  

-       To check documents sent by suppliers

  

-       To analyze and handle non-conformities to avoid cancellations

  

-       Update data in our dedicated software

  

-       Monitor the performance of the service providers

  

·        Organize the activity in order to respect the scheduled shipment dates

  

·        Maintain a good relationship with the merchandisers, the conformity engineers in France and the laboratories

  

  

Required :

  

§     Very good level in English (speaking+writing),

  

§     Graduated with technical background would be better

  

§     Similar experience of 3 years in a retailing company or inspection company/laboratory
