Job Responsibilities:

General responsibility for the business development, coordination, solution draft and operation for Chengdu area rail business.

• Define, document and provide Chengdu area market specific requirements, rules and regulations as well as industry trends

• Own and be responsible for developing and articulating a clear vision, achievable goals and measurable objectives for Railway solutions

• Maintain existing customers and development of potential customers

• Write up and present competitive analysis to focus on new priorities and adapt to latest market changes

• Work with China rail team to grow the rail product footprint and drive the communication of best practice in rail sales, including performing target-group-specific product

• Develop innovative, new Rail product/solution ideas

• Set, maintain and ensure the high-quality operation and service for customers

• Explore and support other business opportunities like sea freight, airfreight, etc.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics industry while minimum 3 years in railway products

• Strong knowledge of China Railway industry

• Ability to discuss rail solutions at technical level within rail organizations.

• Experience as in a related role in one of the two focus markets (EU, CIS)

• Chinese native speaker with good command of the English language

• Good presentation skills

• Airfreight knowledge preferred
