Project management

1、Manage all responsible projects, including setting project priority and delivery timelines. Meet customer requirements by understanding the customer needs.

2、Make decision on the project plan and is responsible for executing the plan. Ensure that group members have full understanding of the project plan. Provide technical guidance to the staff and troubleshoot project issues in a timely manner to ensure smooth progress of the project.

3、Properly allocate resources to all projects and make adjustments whenever is needed, ensuring that every project meets delivery timeline.

4、When the delivery timeline of a project is impacted, immediately report to upper management and communicate with the customer. Propose solutions and modify the project plan if needed to ensure the success of the project.

5、 Be responsible for the product quality delivered by your group.

Communications with the customer

1、Communicate with the customer, including writing project proposal, organizing tel-conference with the customer, reviewing and updating reports on ongoing projects, setting project priority and preparing project final report.

2、Communicate with the customer in a timely manner and ensure customer satisfaction. The average annual score of customer survey is not lower than B, and try to be A.

Management of the group

1、Recruit new staff and ensure that they receive proper and adequate trainings. Coach staff so that they continuously improve their work skills. Review and rank group member performance.

2、Promote talented group members every year.

3、Conduct daily management of his/her group, establish and improve the workflow of his/her group. Bring the operating costs of your group under budget and improve the work efficiency of your group.

4、Provide coaching to your group members and prepare training documents.

Policy Implementation

1、Ensure that group members receive proper trainings, be developed and coached to comply with company and department policies, especially IP protection policy.

2、Ensure the personal safety of your team members and the safety of your labs. Establish and implement lab SOP, and investigate any lab accident and propose solutions to prevent the occurrence of such event.

任职能力：

Degree：M.S. with 10+ years’ experience or Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field.

Professional knowledge

1、精通现代分子生物学和蛋白质工程学的各项操作技术；

2、定向进化/蛋白质工程经验；

3、具有DNA序列处理软件的经验，如Vector NTI，Sequencher，Lasergene或同等产品；

4、能胜任在合作性多学科团队环境中工作的能力；

5、英语口语熟练，沟通能力强；

6、具有良好的领导能力和组织能力；

7、具有下一代DNA测序，高通量筛选和自动液体处理的经验；

8、具有良好的生物催化知识；

9、展现出创造新思想和新概念的能力；

10、多任务的能力；

Required Experience and Skills

1、Proficient in current molecular biology and protein production technologies ;

2、 Experience in directed evolution / engineering of proteins ;

3、 Experience with DNA sequence processing software such as Vector NTI, Sequencher, Lasergene, or equivalent;

4、 Demonstrated ability to work within a collaborative multi-disciplinary team environment;

5、Strong oral communication skills ;

6、Strong leadership and organizational skills;

7、Preferred Experience and Skills;

8、Experience with next gen DNA sequencing, high-throughput screening, and automated liquid handling;

9、Knowledge of biocatalysis;

10、Demonstrated ability to generate novel ideas and concepts ;

11、Ability to multi-task;

Working years:>5 years’work experience after Ph.D. graduation；M.S. with 10+ years’ experience;

Others:Demonstrate ability in problem solving, communications, project management and coordination, and team building;
