Day to Day Responsibilities:

？Interact and support daily coating operations.

？Establish rigorous process control and discipline within their respective area of responsibility (determine appropriate data collection, process monitoring, control methods, and documented standard operating procedures).

？Control process variation and making continuous improvements.

？Investigate and analyze process issues, providing troubleshooting support, developing solutions, and implementing permanent corrective actions.

？Conduct experimentation to understand cause and effect of changes.

？Control effective implementation of process or equipment changes.

？Develops SME knowledge of dies, process and/or equipment in focused areas of manufacturing or engineering.

？Uses simple statistical tools and Designed Experiments (DOE) in process problem solving and process improvement; Uses more sophisticated statistical tools and DOE techniques in problem solving and process/product improvement.

？Plan, direct, coordinate and/or lead projects to ensure effective implementation – achieving objectives, completed on time and within budget.

？Provide training and certification of operators and technicians in process control and defect detection.

？Interact with Division and Plant technical resources to exchange and transfer technology of best practices.

？Implement and enforce procedures for maintaining a safe work environment.

？Stay current as a ‘subject matter expert’ in their field of technical expertise.

Requirements: Education & Experience

？BS/MS degree in Materials, Chemical, Physics, Science, Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent.

？5+ years experiences working on manufacturing.

？Coating experience preferred.

？Work experience in multi-national companies highly preferred.

Requirements: Required Skills

？Strong technical fundamentals with process engineering skills.

？Aptitude for successfully driving to root cause and implementing step change improvement in manufacturing.

？Project leadership aptitude, including ability to achieve results through teams.

？Demonstrated effectiveness at technical problem-solving and decision-making.

？Strong data analysis and interpretation skills

？Strongly results oriented. Able to handle multiple complex tasks and set priorities with multiple internal customers.

？Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas and graphing functions.

？Practical experience with basic statistics, familiarity with advanced statistical methods.

？Demonstrated leadership or teamwork in accomplishing common goals.

Basic knowledge of Six Sigma (DMAIC) methodology.
